Heritage Technology offers a wide range of architectural support services. Our portfolio ranges from 3D architectural sketches for planning applications and conceptual design, to fully textured photo-realistic renderings and animations for marketing material, client presentations and tendering.
3D Architectural Sketches
Our architectural sketches are designed as supplementary material to support planning applications, conceptual designs or for client approval and consultation. Working from hard-copy plans, elevations or even a fluid idea, our 3D architectural sketches can deliver an instant understanding of the proposal or project to all interested parties. The 3D models used to create the sketches allow the proposal to be viewed from any angle and can include cut away sections and 'before and after' scenes to enable a clear understanding of the project.
Our 3D architectural sketches can be delivered as still images, animations, flythroughs or as web based interactive objects.
Architectural Renderings
Our high-quality architectural renderings are intended as the next step up from an architectural sketch. The renderings are highly detailed photo-realistic images designed for the purposes of planning, public consultations, client presentation, marketing or tendering. We provide life-like interior and exterior renderings of proposed buildings or changes to existing buildings for both the public and private sector. As with the architectural sketches we can work from hard-copy plans, elevations or even just an idea.
Our architectural renderings can be delivered as still images, animations or flythroughs.
Shadow Studies
Utilising geo-referenced shadow studies at the planning stage is an effective way of quickly identifying the impact a building may have upon its immediate environment. The reflective and refractive properites of materials such as glass and metal can be accurately simulated in the study, giving clear indications of light-behaviour or areas that may benefit from shading or artificial light. Still frame or time-lapse shadow studies can be created to represent different times of day, varying atmospheric conditions or different different times of year - giving the planner full control over a structure's light-related behaviour under any conditions.
