Cambridge Antiquarian Society website

Client: Cambridge Antiquarian Society
Dates: October-December 2009

Overview
The Cambridge Antiquarian Society (CAS) commissioned Heritage Technology to redesign their website in Autumn 2009. The aim was to develop the society's online resources and restructure the site into a clearer, more navigable structure. The visual appearance of the site was also enhanced with photographs and images.

CAS took an active role in developing the look and feel of the new website, which was to be clear and simple with dampened colours and a minimalist graphical layout. The result was an attractive, un-cluttered appearance, preventing the content from becoming overwhelmed by the supporting visual elements and maximising the impact of the minimal use of colour. All pages were designed to, and validate correctly with, W3C standards for XHTML and CSS.

The new website was launched in December 2009, and is hosted by our close working partners, the Council for British Archaeology (CBA). Heritage Technology continues to provide maintenance and technical support.
